Open House will take place on Thursday, September 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This an excellent opportunity for parents and guardians to meet their student's teachers as well as Summit High School Staff. Representatives from area community colleges and community resources will be in attendance to meet with students and families. Summit's annual Title I meeting will also take place during Open House. Summit High School will be hosting an Open House for all current, newly enrolled and those interested in enrolling at Summit High School. The Open House will take place on Wednesday, August 2nd from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Current and newly enrolled students can pick up their schedule, take their ID picture and get a brand new Summit t-shirt for the 2017/18 school year. The office will be enrolling students during Open House. This year's Open House will have a boardwalk theme with games, food, and prizes.

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2017 will take place at 4:00 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Bulpitt Auditorium located at Phoenix College. Summit High School - Summer School 2017
Students are able to participate in one class per session. Perfect attendance is required for students to receive .5 credit for a class. All students will be provided a free breakfast and lunch daily.
Classes are a total of ten days, Monday-Friday. If a student misses more than one hour of any class for any reason, they will not be able to earn credit. No accommodations will be made. Do not sign up for classes if you know you have a prior appointment.
Classes are from 8:00 AM - 2:35 PM (Lunch: 11:30-11:50). The cost is $25. This fee is non-refundable after the first hour of class, on the first day of the class. Any discipline issues will not be tolerated, and students will be removed without a refund.

Prom is Friday, April 21 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Prom will be held at Salon Las Brisas - 2125 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006. Congratulations to Ms. Perez and her Slam Poetry Team. Summit High School came in 2nd place at the Hotter Than The Sun poetry competition held on Saturday. This competition featured poets from Caurus Academy, Maryvale High School, Paradise Valley High School, Thunderbird High School and Phoenix Collegiate Academy. Our poets were very well prepared and we were treated to phenomenal performances.
